  • Surreal Saturday

This is the reason we have screens on our windows.

I'm making good progress on my writing but I am not feeling so optimistic about finishing the first draft by August 15th.  It's okay, though, because if I can just get it close to being finished, that's just as good.

It's much easier to finish writing a novel that is already almost finished.  I mean, besides the obvious, it's psychologically easier to work on.

For my break today I did a little playing around with photography...

This is for my love.  "11" is our number.

    Land Of Holes

    Ghoul from 8th Dimension

    Inside / Outside

And with that, I shall leave you with a mysterious piece of music, smuggled out of heaven by a rogue angel.  Needless to say it's very rare.  Elvis Presley and Bob Marley jamming together with their take on Led Zeppelin's "Stairway To Heaven."

  • Yay, Pics. Hope you guys are well and happy.

  • The photos are very cool--I love "inside/outside."

What I really love is Marley and Presley singing Stairway to Heaven!!!  Incredible rendition!

  • As always, great pics.  What I love about Dread Zeppelin, er, Marley and Elvis, is that once you get passed the gimmick, the greatness of the song is never lost.  I know that the song is somewhat loosely based on the Jacob's Ladder story from the Old Testament, but I have to admit that to this day I really don't know what the heck both the song and the Bible passage are talking about.

  • Led Zeppelin!!

You are really good with that photography jazz, Jerry. Good luck with your writing. God only knows I'll get to mine when I start school in a month. It's so hectic here.

  • Last night during a VH1 classics show of a KISS concert I said the two songs I never EVER want to hear again are Beth and Stairway to Heaven.  But I actually managed to listen to a bit of that.  Now to get Richard Cheese to do a cover of it if he already hasn't.

Oh and KISS and Led Zeppelin are two of my top favorite bands.
